Production Network
Forgital Italy
Using a hot rolling process, the company produces rings without welds as structural components of machinery and plants for the most demanding industrial sectors.
In order to be used appropriately, the rings produced in this way are also subjected to the necessary heat treatments, normally carried out in-house in order to provide an absolute metallurgical and qualitative guarantee, and these are followed by the mechanical machining stages and both destructive and non-destructive testing.
The parts, finished to the conditions requested in the Customer's specifications and drawings, are then sent to the user by means of a logistics network capable of serving the most distant Countries and Continents.
As well as this ability to produce in accordance with the Customer's instructions, Forgital makes its "concurrent engineering" service available to its Clientele, using the experience achieved by its engineering team in the forging process already applied to countless industrial fields.
In compliance with the customer's requirements, FORGITAL also provides all the certification necessary for guaranteeing the qualitative properties of its products.
Among the tests FORGITAL is able to carry out in its own laboratories or in the laboratories of its subsidiary, RTM Breda, are the following:
- mechanical traction
- impact strength
- hardness
- mechanical fracture testing
- Pellini test (DWT)
- residual stress
- chemical analysis
- Baumann test
- Wragge impression
- corrosion
- electrical conductibility
- micrographs and macrographs
- failure analysis
