Forgital Italy shareholders assembly approved the "2008 Social and Environmental Report ". This document reveals company policies in terms of human heritage, workers’  health and safety and environmental protection.
Regarding human resources, the goal of 2008 training activities has been the development at every level of the sense of responsibility, especially aimed at improving quality of working performances.
To protect workers’ health and safety, all company activities have been driven by a logic of prevention, reduction and removal of threats. The result was a decrease in the frequency (-16% compared to 2007) and severity (-43%)of accidents.
In environmental field, the ecological waste differentiation area has been completed, allowing the recycle of wastes, mostly derived from processing. Great efforts have been made, finally, to reduce energy consumption, which decreased by 2.8% in relation to total hours of plants use.
